So I'm my English class we are taking a benchmark with 3 sections(multiple choice, short answer, and essay)and each is worth 2 test grades(which is absolutly stupid since it's just a benchmark)and the essay prompt is "Write about a time you made yourself heard." Not oy is it stupid, it is really vauge.

That's why I hated taking tests in English class.

Ya English is by far my least favorite subject this year.

I actually kinda liked prompts, as opposed to free writes, but I still didn't like them. But yes, prompts tend to be absolutely retarded.

But it has to fill up a page front/back. It's so stupid.

Sounds kinda stupid yes, lol.

It's even more stupid that she's taking a grade for it, since it's just a practice TAKS test(end of the year test here).

For our test to see if you graduate, you were forced to do 3 in 10th grade, and not getting enough points, you would'nt get to graduate. It was BS (I passed with a perfect score on Writing, nearly on reading, but that's besides the point)

We have TAKS from 3rd grade up until junior year exit level exams. Usually 2-3 a year. Until 7-11 grade where it's usually all 4 core classes. Seniors don't take one unless the failed the test junior year.
