| I understand the basics of my stats and such and speech is very handy like always. I can basicly now just build up my character just like I want and how I play? (Small weapons and stealth xD With a bit of Lock Picking and medicine.)
How have you developed your character statwise? (SPECIAL, Perks and hoohah) |

| My character is just a run in guns blazing guy. He is efficient with Energy and normal weapons. My stats right now at level 16:
SPECIAL:
Strength-8 (I bought the implant) Perception-4 Endurance-5 Charisma-6 Intelligence-9 (I bought the implant) Agility-7 Luck-8
I took the Intense Training perk 3 or 4 times.
My highest skills are Guns, Energy Weapons, and Repair. |

| Okay right now I decided to choose these SPECIALs unless I can't change them, oops.
Strength 7 Perception 4 Endurance 4 CHarisma 3 Intelligence 8 Agility 7 Luck 8
PRETTY bad I think D: I want them to be atleast 4 and Charisma is needed.
Oh and Trudy had this Barter thing (12/20 it said) and how does that work?
EDIT : Reworked the stats plus Perk boosted one stat. I now have
Strength 7 Perception 3 Endurance 5 CHarisma 5 Intelligence 8 Agility 7 Luck 7 |

| The barter 12/20 means that you only have 12 points in Barter skill and you need 20 or higher for the dialogue option to be successful.
You character looks fine, there's no real right or wrong way to spec your guy.
What type of character are you trying to go for? |

For now, a balanced out character. Mainly putting my points in Guns, Energy Weapons and some points in Speech/lockpick/repair. |

| Just going to put this out here.
Charisma is a useless SPECIAL stat IMO. The only thing it effects is Barter and Speech, which you can level up independent from the stat. The other stats all effect other things besides skills, except for Charisma, so if you need to sacrifice a stat in the beginning to get everything else higher, I would recommend setting Charisma to 1 or 2. |

2:Confirmed Bachelor 4:Educated 6:Toughness 8:Commando 10:Finess 12:Sniper 14:Silent Running 16:Better Criticals 18:Weapon handling 20:Grim Reaper Sprint 22:Toughness 24:Action boy 26:Concentrated fire 28:Action boy 30:Explorer
Specials: Implant DT+4, ED-E's, Boone's Maxed Skills: Guns,Lockpicking,Sneak,Science (Also speech at 90 and energy weapons at 60 just for concentrated fire)
Took Bachelor for the 10% DMG, Educated to allow me to max 6 skills, Toughnessx2 to help when i cant stealth since im on Very Hard, Weapon handling to bring my STR up to 8 (after implant) to control the anti-material, Explorer so i can go to every location. Rest are self explained.
With this build you can be effective in sneaking for those silent criticals, Effective in straight up fights with vats and high crit chance, and good in the game with high speech, science and lockpicking.
Its amazing, try it. |

| this imo is the best special build for a multicharacter but mainly guns traits) small frame (1 agiltiy for a couple docters bags) four eyes (who doesnt wear a good pair of shades) Strength 3 (after implant)4 (take the weapon handling perk and companion) Perception 5 (plus glasses) 6 Endurance 5 Charisma 1 Intelligence 10 Agilitiy 8 (plus smallframe and implant) 10 Luck 8 ( +implant and caesar glasses) 10 or subtract some from perception for strength or luck sub agility for perception for nrg weps |

| Sorry a little late to the charisma discussion but companions are so strong already that they dont need the help from charisma. I played through a hard/hardcore game my first run through with cass and had no problems with her at 1 charisma. And my current build is S:7 P:6 E:8 C:1 I:4 A:7 L:7 Most points are in speech guns lockpick and repair....barter is at 8  Because at the start of the game I went through and broke the bank in every casino so I have like 50k caps |

LOL no trades allowed. That would be highly unethical.

| just me but id say the base for ant character is still inteligince of 10 at the start. chrisma is useless reall, if you really want it just boost ur stats manually after leveling leave one luck for legion lucky shades or not if you want luck= win max the casinos for caps stength is negagted if you havee a companion to dump ur shit on, and weapon handling gives weapons to use high perception can be a curse.ed-e shows that becuase he'll detect a crow from miles away and dstort where stuff is, but its also good to see stuff earlier agility is the 2nd ability to keep at 10 unless u got an energy weapons fetish then perception is the way to go. enderance is better in this game so try to predict which stats will use implant plus the two special implants and take the intense training/speed reload/ one of the bachelores, then educated, then comprehension profit |
