I really like FPS games, but after playing them on LIVE for hours for a couple of years, they're not really that exciting anymore. I've gone without raging for 3 days, but it's still just not fun. I'm getting back into games like Fallout, Fire Emblem, Minecraft, etc. Does anybody else get this way?

I would not say that I am bored of FPS, but it definitely is easier to drain a me, due to high amounts of concentration and competitive nature involved.

Yeah, it's kinda that, and I gorw frustrated so quickly now, along with the fact that FPS these days don't have nearly as good of a story as a lot of RPG type games do (Minecraft doesn't count, obviously),

Sometimes I feel that way, thats why ive been playing new vegas the past few days. Call of duty pissrd me off the other day, so I took a break.

No. I can't ever imagine that. I've been playing FPS since Doom on windows 3.1, man. If I've gone that long, I can't see myself quitting any time soon due to boredom. Future consoles will renew the experience each time.

Also, I play lots of RPGs, so if I get kind of tired of shooting, I can play one of those.

I'm getting tired of it now. Used to be one of my passions and I was really good at it but now I suck so I'm actually depressed about it...yes I'm butt hurt but I can be if I want to. I'm good at a great many things. I'm an artist, a painter, an amatuer palaetologist, an archer, a hunter, a really good dad, I'm very good at my work. I keep going back for my humiliation though.

RPG's are what I like to play to relax. I also love old.school platformers,.so my wii gets alot of use. Thats enough to kerp it fresh.

I am steadily, I like a bit of RPG and Minecraft. I may get back into rockband and become pro at it again.

I haven't played Minecraft for about a week, but I'm beginning to itch to play it. It's rather ironic; I've been watching Black Ops since the day it came out, and I love CoD so much, but I'd rather play old games than any of my brand new ones, lol. Even FO doesn't seem as much fun as FE right now; guess I'm just not in the mood for killing things I guess.

I want to buy a RPG for xbox and record a playthrough but I am not sure. I sold my RPGs and have mainly FPSs D:

I made the same mistake, but I'm really glad I still have FE for the Gamecube/Wii. Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn are amazing, as well as Metroid Prime. Nintendo still makes great games, it's just not nearly as many as they used to; I kinda wish I had Metroid Prime here now. Gah! I want to play too many games at once; the only reason I feel an urge to play CoD right now a little is because I'm addicted to that game, I won't lie.

I've played FPS games for............15 years now... not bored yet!!

Well, maybe I'm not bored. Maybe I just need a break for a bit?

I played zombies for the first time tonight.... it was pretty interesting. I got confussed when someone told me to go tot he teleprompter though. =o(

Zombies never gets that old though. I was playing with Tallness yesterday, it was pretty fun, for the most part.

I had no clue what I was doing at first. The guy I was playiung with did a good job of telling me what was going on though. I like MP but I could see myself giving zombies another go.

Yeah, it's pretty great. Higu and I accidently lost on Wave 1 somehow, by dying to nothing. We called all the Zombies and at the end of the wave, I was knifing and teabagging at him, then we dove at each other and died. We both laughed ourselves silly over it, but we couldn't get it to work again. Wish there was a theater mode for Zombies.

I haven't even tried the zombies yet.
