Ok so I took my 15 into Dead Money, beat it and left as a level 21. Seeing as how the strip glitch has been magically fixed for me I continue on with my missions, until another one! Im doing the mission where I must go to the Legion Camp, talk to Ceaser and put the Platinum chip in the fortification bunker. Well some dude runs up to me and asks wth am I doing. I explain ive got the mark of ceaser and to let me pass. He says ok, just we wont tolerate any violence. That easy enough right? Well apparently not, because every time this happens I get attacked by all the Legion instantly, EVERY TIME.

Keep in mind, not only do I not have a weapon out, I am also dressed in Legion attire........GRRRRRRRRRR this shit is really getting old, and making me think I may hang up NV for good. Which I dont want to do.

I think the person who talks to you is actually a form of guard that is able to look through your disguise.

So if you have already been vilified by the Legion, he would look through your disguise.

Well that blows! So do I have no choice but to massacre the entire Legion to get to the bunker? And yes Ive been fucking with the Legion all game. They sure do hate me lol. But I was called by Ceaser personally. Some dude in a tent talks to me, and I tech him how to make explosives, and disarm mines, and hes doesnt attack.....then the random dude just shows up and everyone wants me to die....

Maybe you humped the dudes sister?
Can you hump peoples sisters in the new fallout?

This is what you should do, wait on the outskirts of Cottonwood Cove, and wait for the dude to initiate the talk and assault on you.

After that, runaway from the place, and let the hostility die down.

Then you will be able to proceed next time without him auto talking to you.

Apparently I am no where close according to the discovery master Big D, after him scolding me about not looking everywhere for everything in Dead Money.

LOL Im the same way as D. I look in every nook and cranny in most all RPG's. Having OCD doesn't make it any easier to control either haha. Im probably the most boring person in the world to watch play fallout, as I take forever, literally opening everything. I found like 800 chips or more in Dead Money haha.


My safehouse is friggin epic. I should be on that show Hoarders. My teddy bear, and pool ball collection is massive! As is my room full of alcohol

I am OCD when it comes to character creation, thus every time they add something new to the game, and my skill / special stats cannot benefit fully from such addition of items, I have to recreate a character or it drives me nuts.

Currently planning a new character with all the new stuff included.

You know what annoys me about collecting stuff?

Say you have 40 teddy bears in your inventory and want to drop them on your bed. You have to do it one by one, or else it will just drop one multi teddy! I dont know why that bugs me so much, same shit in Fallout 3.

There would be some problem picking up ammos from the ground if everything was separated as one item.

5.56mm comes in a magazine looking form, which is actually a single round but is group with more ammo, like how you drop multi items.

Imagine you trying to pick up decent ammount of ammo from the ground. The corpse or a person will be covered with empty magazines with one round in it. LoL
