| Cmon people we all have them! Be honest. Mines easy......and I know Greg you bastard are going to laugh at me. But its easily Trivium. They are loathed in the metal underground by many, for mainly one reason(which is fucking retarded). But Ive been fans since day one. Seen them live over ten times, met the dudes and even had the opportunity to jam with Matt Heafy in LA three years ago. One of the greatest experiences in my life, so maybe Im a little biased. But no matter what you think, they guys are incredibly talented. Here are some of my favorite songs for your viewing pleasure. |

| I don't feel guilty about anything I listen to.
I guess... Muscles.
Even though other people may judge me about some of the music I listen to, I am not ashamed. They just don't get it. |

| Amen man. Im a huge metal head, and right away 90% of what I listen to instantly turns most people off right away lol. I couldn't give a shit less, in fact at times I relish it. Like wearing my Bloodabath shirt when Im forced to go shopping with the lady lol. Man the looks I get are totally worth it. |

| Can't say that I can think of anything off the top of my head that I'm ashamed of listening to, but I'm sure there's something that I like that could be considered a guilty pleasure. Maybe some Slipknot, Nirvana, System of a Down and Audioslave tracks I like could be considered guilty pleasures, but I'm not ashamed to say I like them... | Symbolic47 wrote: | | ......and I know Greg you bastard are going to laugh at me. |
Can you really blame me, man? |

| Nirvana should not be a guilty pleasure. I was a HUGE fan back in the day and they were my first real band crush. I dont listen to them anymore but can still respect everything about the music. Slipknot is easily my guilty pleasure, I saw them live about a year and a half ago. I expected them to play all the garbage from their more recent albums, but much to my delight they played a lot of songs from their self titled album. Those guys are entertainers and they know how to work it. I dont understand all the hate though. I think the rest of the metal scene just hated the fact that they didnt "put in their time". Meaning they got big really fast instead of going hungry and poor playing empty bars with people spitting on them and saying they suck every night. |

| Modest Mouse is mine I listen to a lot of old school stuff. Zepplin, Pink Floyd, CCR, The Doors, The Beatles. So Modest Mouse is kinda a change of pace for me. _________________ Keep calm, Chive on! |

check out this site and you'll see, Slipknot put in major time before exploding. It was hardly over night, man.
Also, I found my 'guilty pleasure'. Limp Bizkit, man. Hardly ashamed of it though, as far as music goes, they're quite the musicians.

| Alice in Chains is great. The Doors are a guilty pleasure for me too, because otherwise I don't listen to classic rock. Just not my thing. |
