i was trying to get the $1000 profit from gambling stat to unlock one of the elegant suit requirements.

i played some arm wrestling, but it was too slow
i played horseshoes... it was just bad

so i played poker and won £50 (25 profit)
then i decided to buy the elegant suit and cheat (to make it faster to get profit)
4 duels and -75 overall profit i decided to play the high stakes instead.

its very fun. ive gone 2000+ chips 3 times ($100 profit each) by luck.
one time they had just dealt, everyone folded, and i got 30 chips for free XD

usually i put all my profits in when i have a strong hand (or think i have, im not sure on the ranks of card combos).
a few games more and ill be moving on to the next requirments.

i want it to get the rare weapons cheap, since im going for the 100%

the savy merchant and the hunter outfit actually dont count towards the 100%. If you go to the rockstar social club they have a 100% checklist to see what all you are missing. Oh and you can always save before the poker games so you don't go to far down the hole. I'm about -1,000 gambling profits so I got a ways to go still lol.

the main reason for getting the outfit is to half the cost of rare weapons, so i dont have to spend so much on the rare weapons (im at max honour so i get a 50% discount, and the outfit gives me another 50% making it 75% cheaper overall )

yeah. i need 5 $500 each weapons (LeMat Revolver, Carcano Rifle, Evans Repeater, Semi-Auto Shotgun and the Mauser Pistol).

id rather spend $1250 than $2500, or the $5000 it would be if i wasnt at max honour.

Do the treasure hunter missions. Selling the gold you get from those will net you around $5000.

After I sold all of the gold, I no longer needed money. Hides will also net you lots of cash. Bear hides are great.

the outfit makes you sell stuff for more moeny too.

my plan is to get the outfit, kill loads of bears or US animals, then sell them all in mexico for loads of money.

dude I've gained so much money hunting up in tall tree's just let it build up in your inventory then go back to town you can get 500-1000 from one trip. Gotta look out though I learned to stay on my mount the hard way kept placing bait and sitting back with the buffalo rifle to snipe any animals that came by. for the final one just at the moment I thought the animal should be there now heard the cougar yell or whatever it does...... I about shit my pants when that thing knocked me over managed to kill it but still best to stay on your horse so they kill that instead of you.

I used a guide online to find the treasure. Yeah, it's cheating, but I wasnt interested in roaming around for days to find the chests.

then i did the rapid B A B A B A B A B A press glitch to leave the game multiple times (it gives you the money over and over again).

i went from 4,900 to 11k+ in one game. now i have the explosive rifle and all the guns apart from semi auto shotty, with 4k left over XD
